Victory Inner-city Ministries, Inc. is actively involved in community and economic development on the near-east side of Indianapolis. Since 2000, we have been reaching out to homeless neighbors and have helped numerous individuals and families in a variety of ways - food, housing, clothing, and emergency assistance. All of this provided in the context of caring, informed relationships.
       The problems of homelessness and poverty are complex. Giving a hand out is not the same as giving a hand up. There are answers to the social problems facing our city and our society, but the answer is not more government programs or welfare. The answer lies in the teachings of Jesus Christ, "To love God with all your heart, and to love your neighbor as yourself." We are a group of people seeking to live out that message.
