Who We Are...
Victory Village Shoppe is a social enterprise started for the purpose of providing a small business incubator and ?good work? for our local residents in the 10 East Main Street business district. As an engine for economic and community development, Victory Village Shoppe is committed to engaging and welcoming like-minded partners.
Over the past three years, Victory Village Shoppe has established itself as an inviting retail location. In partnership with the East 10th Street Civic Association, a community-led organization dedicated to the revitalization of the Indianapolis Eastside, hundreds of hours and over fifty thousand dollars have been invested to renovate this historic location.
How It Works...
Victory Village Shoppe works with individual business start ups by licensing boutique space to showcase unique and quality items.
- Boutique spaces range in size to accommodate the needs of each partner
- Short term contracts promote flexibility
 Why It Works...
The risk associated with opening a store alone is often overwhelming. The small business incubator opportunity minimizes that risk while allowing each start up to benefit from being a part of an established retail location.
- Licensing fee includes boutique rent, maintenance, alarm system, & more
- Shoppe is staffed by experienced management
Additional Benefits...
Victory Village Shoppe does not simply license space but offers a support system for all start ups
- Start ups benefit from collaborative marketing
- Business development counseling
- Product pricing assistance
- Boutique space design assistance
- No sales taxes or payroll concerns for start ups
- Special events promote exposure for all start ups
Our Customers...
While the marketing region is the greater Indianapolis area, Victory Village Shoppe serves the residents of 10 East Main Street and surrounding neighborhoods. Victory Village Shoppe customers have discretionary income and seek out local, unique, and high-quality products.

Walton?s Studios
Quality Handcrafted Signs and Designs
Donald Walton, an African-American neighbor in his middle 50?s, is a self-taught artist and painter whose works have been featured
in several venues. He has an interest in starting a small business making and selling hand crafted, hand-painted signs. There is
incredible demand and need for his product. Donald is both a excellent craftsman and hard worker. His handiwork should gracing
edifices around the city and across the state. With a little assistance, his could become one of many businesses emerging from the
near east side of Indianapolis, and Victory Village Shoppe could play an important role in his development. Donald has a wife and
four children to support and currently lives below poverty level. Helping him to help himself and his family, is part of our mission.
Caring Hearts
Hand crafted candles, cards and crafts from Caring Hearts
Denise was homeless not too long ago. It was at a homeless shelter, The Care Center, that we met. Now she is helping others who
are in the same situation that she was in just two years ago. Through our developing relationships with various homeless women's
shelters, we plan to employ homeless ladies in our transitional employment program. The idea is simple. They will make a variety
of things to sell, and market them in the Caring Hearts Booth space. Their part time employment will help them in a variety of ways.
Because they will be employed, they will qualify for low-income housing. They will have references and a job history to help them in
their search for full-time employment, and they will have the opportunity to work in a quality, Christian environment while they work
to overcome in their struggle with homelessness.
Helping people to help themselves is hard work, but it is a work to which we at VICM are whole-heartedly committed.
Victory Village Shoppe is an important part of that work.
If you or your church are interested in learning more about how you might participate in the work that VICM is doing, please feel free to contact us.
There is plenty of good work to go around, and we are more than happy to share. We are always looking for partners to share the load with us.
For those who already do, thank you.
